An ACE (Authorized Continuing Education) provider is an organization or institution approved to offer professional continuing education credits that meet specific standards set by licensing boards or professional associations. These providers create and deliver educational programs, courses, or training that professionals can use to maintain their professional credentials, fulfill licensing requirements, and stay current in their field. ACE providers ensure that the continuing education content is high-quality, relevant, and meets the specific learning and certification needs of professionals in various industries.

This study examined whether problem behaviors return (resurgence) when interventions stop working, testing 4 children through a 3-phase design where target behaviors were first reinforced, then replaced with alternative behaviors, and finally both were put on extinction. The key finding was that resurgence occurred regardless of whether alternative responses remained available, with greater resurgence when alternatives were completely removed. This suggests that simply teaching replacement behaviors may not prevent problem behaviors from returning once treatment conditions change, highlighting the need for gradual schedule thinning and ongoing monitoring in behavior intervention plans.

Parent Training
Behaviorally-oriented training that can help improve a child's skills and promote optimal development. Gilmore's ABA parent training method is through the use of applied behavior analysis which can be useful for children with ASD, ADHD, behavioral changes, learning disabilities, and even for typically developing children. Parent training should include curriculum around generalization, maintenance, and function skills for children based on behavior science
